I tutored all throughout middle and high school. Throughout my college experience I educated my patients on treatment plans, adaptive strategies, and learning techniques. This gave me the ability to correlate my teaching with different learning styles and interest areas, which benefits me in tutoring others. Besides the general occupational therapy courses, I am well educates in human development of all ages. I was able to utilize this knowledge in the occupational therapy world when evaluating my patients. I also took several classes on medical terminology and used the terminology in documentation for state and insurance requirements.
